This books is a must have resource for anyone that has coronary artery diseasse. It is also a perfect book for the concerned family members/friends of the patient. Each chapter is broken down to "The Bottom Line" and the "Nitty Gritty". A brilliant educational tool.

The Roadmap to Angioplasty

I certainly wasn't happy to learn that I needed to get a stent. In fact I'll admit I was quite scared, but reading this book has been very helpful. It's like a roadmap to understanding the whole process from beginning to end (angiogram to angioplasty). There are great pictures of what a stent looks like and how it fits so you can understand exactly what's happening to you. I especially liked the fact that there were different characters in the book and it made it feel a bit more personalized. I also like the fact that each question is answered in two parts-the first one gave me a basic understanding and the second part gave me great details. This book made it a little easier to handle a scary and difficult situation.

Amazing book for anybody who needs advice about stents being put in after a heart attack

I had a heart attack two years ago and this book really helped me by providing me with the knowledge of what to do every day for the rest of my life. I had angioplasty which saved my life. This book educated me about when to take the proper pills at the proper times for my condition. Dr. Jeremias clearly explained the intricacies of how the heart works. My life was saved by angioplasty and a stent. This book was so informative about all the different aspects of angioplasty. I recommend this book to anybody who wants to know how the heart functions and how to take care of yourself before and after angioplasty. Thank you Dr. Jeremias for writing a book in plain English.
