The Living Bible plus helps

I bought this for a friend because my copy of The Living Bible is the most precious thing I own, and because she liked mine so much. I like this particular edition because it is flexible and the cover is sort of plasticized for better durability. The printing is a good size, with adequate white space so the printing doesn't feel "crowded." In addition, this edition has study helps, including 2 maps, a Bible reading plan, and 60 pages of topical concordance (which I wish mine had). I hope my friend likes it as much as I do!

Best Oldie but a Very Goodie

On May 15th, 1995 this bible was given to me as gift from my mother as a newly Christian. Everything is just set right in this bible. I've grown to love it, just cannot tear myself away to getting a new one. The self-help txt verses which are located in the front are truly helpful to the different types of moods your feeling, truly helpful. KJV just seems as if to much extra wording is put in. This text is straight to the point if you perfer that type. (my perspective) I recommend this bible to anyone.
